Our company offered us the opportunity to improve our English. And i am very happy with the lessons our teacher Alex gave us. I wished i had Alex as teacher in school. He makes sure you understand the explanation about grammar and only then he continuous the lesson. You get to practise the grammar during exercises and Alex will let you think about the answer and why it is wrong or correct. Our lessons have finished and i will definitely miss them.

During my traineeship in Germany, I have one lesson a week with my English teacher Alex. If you are expecting boring and monotonous English lessons like in your school time than I definitely have to disappoint you. Unlike at school, your teacher is a real help and there is space and time to fail which supports me to increase my English skills in speaking and writing. The lessons are particularly well structed, and I like the little discussion rounds in the beginning. Furthermore, the course material is adapted to your level of English so that you are neither over nor under challenged. I attend business English B2, and I am glad, that I have at least one year left.

I like the lessons with Alex a lot. He is a very competent, reliable and helpful teacher who finds the right words to motivate and improve your language skills. And he has this calm and relaxed way that you need when you are nervous :-). It's just good fun with a lot of outcome.

Alex helped me to get from beginner level German to passing the Goethe C1 exam first time. This allowed me to make the move from the UK to live and work in Switzerland. Alex carefully tailors the lessons and learning materials, and brings in varied and interesting topics, including Germanic history, culture and society. Die Vorbereitung auf das IELTS Academic mit Alex war super. Die Lektionen waren sehr abwechslungsreich gestaltet und auf meine Bedürfnisse abgestimmt. Alex ist sehr flexibel einerseits mit den Terminen, andererseits mit den Themen. Wir haben gezielt Schwachstellen angeschaut und so konnte ich Lücken schliessen. Alex kennt sich sehr gut mit der Struktur des IELTS aus, was sehr hilfreich für die Vorbereitung der Prüfung ist. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder Lektionen bei Alex buchen, wenn ich ein weiteres Diplom absolviere.

Alex has been my German and English teacher for four years. During that time I achieved level B2 in German and proficiency in English. Alex's style is fun but very effective and the results I achieved have gone beyond my expectations. As a teacher he is always very organized and approachable. Due to my work with Alex, my business has grown significantly. Not only does he reveal the language structure, but also gives you a great insight into cultural etiquette and manners, which differ from my native background. My partner is Italian and we decided to have our children grow up to learn both languages natively. The obvious choice for me was to learn some Italian too. Eleonora was simply fantastic and very patient with me. I didn’t just learn Italian, but now I also understand the culture much better. I have been studying Italian for some time now with Serena, a wonderful native-speaking teacher from Venice. I like everything about the lessons, and my learning is progressing really well!
